Different perspectives.
The same principles.

Every nomination is read against the same four principles. Documented practice is what counts.

  1. Clarity over Complexity

Information should empower people, not confuse them.

  2. Integrity over Influence

    No relationship influences the outcome.

  3. Evidence over Opinion

    Verifiable actions, not marketing claims.

  4. Impact over Volume

    Trust created, not transactions counted.

Independence,
by rule.

No co-founder can enter. Bali News, Fullers Properties and ArkaCara are ineligible in every category. Bali News and Fullers Properties hold no vote; ArkaCara's founder, Adhiguna, sits on the independent panel.

Recusal

A judge's own organisation may be nominated. When it is, that judge sees no scores, takes no part in the discussion and casts no vote in that category, including any tie break. Every published result names the judges who recused. If a judge's organisation is a finalist or wins, the record says so in plain words next to the result.

No seat is bought

Judges serve without fee and hold sole scoring authority. Sponsorship supports the event, never the outcome.

Documentation over acquaintance

Knowing a nominee is not disqualifying; deciding on that basis is. Documented practice is what the panel reads.

Tie break

The tie break procedure is being confirmed by the panel and will be published here before judging begins.
